Makita Philippines has partnered with J&T Cargo to launch a Free Pick-Up and Delivery Service, designed to make after-sales care more convenient and accessible. This new offering underscores Makita’s mission to provide innovative, customer-centric solutions beyond the point of sale.

Through this new service, Makita customers may now send their tools for warranty claims or repairs without the need to personally visit a service center. Once serviced, the tools will be delivered back to the customer efficiently and securely, ensuring a seamless and reliable process from start to finish.

This complimentary service applies exclusively to warrantable items and is available in selected regions, provinces, and cities across the Philippines. For non-warrantable repairs, standard service and delivery fees will apply, with clear and convenient payment options provided by Makita Service Centers.

By integrating Makita’s trusted service network with J&T Cargo’s logistics expertise, this initiative reinforces Makita’s dedication to superior quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Starting August 18, 2025, Makita implemented an improved warranty policy for all tools purchased in the Philippines. This updated program reflects Makita’s continuous effort to strengthen after-sales support and deliver exceptional value to its customers nationwide.

Under the enhanced warranty policy, all eligible Makita tools purchased from authorized dealers will receive extended coverage. To avail of this improved support, customers are required to present a valid proof of purchase together with a duly accomplished warranty card at the nearest authorized Makita Service Center.

 Makita Philippines successfully conducted a meaningful community empowerment program in partnership with SOS Children’s Villages Pilipinas at Florencia A. Masilungan Memorial Elementary School in Brgy. Mojon-Tampoy, San Jose, Batangas. Held on November 15, 2025, the initiative called Project H.O.P.E. (Handcrafted Opportunities, Promoting Empowerment) aimed to provide practical and livelihood-ready skills to members of the local community.

The event featured hands-on skills training workshops, led by the Makita and SOS teams, designed to equip participants with knowledge they can use for future opportunities. As part of Makita’s ongoing CSR initiatives and commitment to education, the program emphasized building confidence, improving technical capabilities, and inspiring long-term self-sufficiency among residents.

After the recent earthquake in Cebu, communities are working hard to recover from the destruction it left behind. Among the first to respond were the rescue teams led by Doc Ted Esguerra, whose swift actions in Bogo City became a source of hope during a difficult time.

With every second counting, responders relied on Makita rescue tools to clear debris, assess damaged structures, and access affected areas quickly and safely. Built for strength and precision, these tools helped rescuers move efficiently through unstable environments and focus on what mattered most—saving lives.
