Industrial Sales, Account Manager

  • Develop and execute a robust sales strategy for power tools in industrial sectors, targeting manufacturing plants, shipyards, fabrication shops, and metalworking businesses.
  • Identify, assess, and capitalize on opportunities to grow the market share.
  • Work closely with dealers, distributors, and end-users to build a sustainable sales pipeline.
  • Provide expert advice and consultative solutions to clients, ensuring they choose the most suitable tools for their needs.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of industrial-grade power tools, such as grinders, drills, saws, impact wrenches, and specialized tools for metalworking and shipbuilding.
  • Conduct on-site product demonstrations and offer training sessions to customers and their teams.
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including procurement officers, engineers, and plant managers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for high-priority accounts, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor customer needs and feedback to anticipate future requirements and propose new solutions.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and advancements in power tools and industrial applications.
  • Collaborate with the product team to suggest enhancements or new product offerings based on customer insights.
  • Explore opportunities in emerging industries or geographic regions within the industrial sector.
  • Support and mentor junior sales team members by sharing knowledge, strategies, and industry expertise.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, including marketing, technical support, and logistics, to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to showcase products and build professional networks.
  • The role may involve frequent travel for client visits, trade shows, and product demonstrations, along with a willingness to work flexible hours to meet customer needs.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of proven sales experience in power tools or industrial equipment, with at least 2 years in a senior sales role.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of industrial power tools and their applications in manufacturing, shipbuilding, and metalworking industries.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales forecasting, and reporting tools.
  • Customer-focused approach with a proven ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills to inspire and guide team members.
  • Self-driven and highly organized, with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in industrial work environments.
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices and energy-efficient tools in industrial applications is an advantage.
