The XGT is a new 40V | 80V system with its own series of tools, batteries and chargers. The new design together with the improved high-efficiency batteries offer an optimal solution for challenges in construction, industry as well as gardening and many other areas.
Makita’s battery platform for XGT is specifically designed to cope with high-intensity work. The XGT batteries deliver up to 40V which is twice as much as the LXT batteries at 18V.
The XGT has both the same shape and size as the 18V LXT batteries but is nevertheless a completely new battery series. The XGT series complements the established LXT range in a variety of applications that require high performance. This means that in a completely new way, you are not dependent on stationary kaft sources.
